Welcome
to the Club! Intrepid Theatre presents
Victoria's newest clubhouse, rehearsal hall, gallery and performance
venue. All this rolled into one great little space! Can't
believe it? Come check it out for yourself.
The Intrepid Studio holds up to 50 in completely
flexible seating, making it ideal for anything from
small
productions and play readings to
lectures, classes and rehearsals. The Club is outfitted with
lighting instruments, a basic sound rig, four tiers of seating, limited
wing space and a cyc.
The lobby is vast and white and screaming for some
art. We're still working out the details, but we're looking at a
regular rotation of art in any and all styles. Give Meg a call
if you're interested in hanging something.
The Club is just that, so anyone attending or producing
events must become a club member. Annual dues are $2 and all the
money raised goes toward building improvements.

GST additional. Bookings are
not considered binding
until Intrepid Theatre has received signed contracts, and a
deposit of 50% of the total fee. Renters must provide liability
insurance to cover their activities.
Commercial rates apply to non
arts-based organizations. The balance of fees is due one week after
your event.

Intrepid Theatre will be offering up the Intrepid Theatre Club once a
month for guest producers to do a show. Any show, about anything, done
any way you like. Put together a cabaret night, stage your own one
person show, create an art installation with live music, produce a
concert.... If you've been mulling over a project but lack the funds
for a venue, this is the perfect opportunity to get your art on its
feet! Its a low-risk chance to cut your artist/performer/producer teeth!
YOU BRING:
A Plan: The show, the marketing, the tech, the staff, the jazz hands.
WE PROVIDE:
A FREE VENUE FOR A WHOLE DAY and access to all the goods therein. You
can use what we've got, but if you need anything else, you've got to
find it. The space will be provided free of charge for the entire day
to allow for technical rehearsals, set up etc. Technical labour is not
included in this offer. You may provide your own qualified chap or
chap-ette, subject to our approval.

The Great
Jordano will amaze you with
stunning sleight of hand and clean comedy for all ages. His
act includes comedy, ropes, money, cards, optical illusions, spell

Intrepid Theatre presents
Under The
Mango Tree
Vancouver performer and playwright, Veenesh Dubois took the Vancouver
Fringe by storm with her sellout show, Under the Mango Tree, which
won ‘Pick of the Fringe’ last year and is now headed to
Victoria for four special performances at Intrepid Theatre.
Dubois’ enchanting semi-autobiographical play tells the story of
her families’ struggle to immigrate to Canada from their small village
in Fiji. Fans of last year’s Uno Fest hit, Pyaasa will love this
heartfelt tale of immigration and loss.
