Poetry, music and dance come together in CRUSH

Saltwater brings you an innovative and intimate evening of music, poetry and dance. Missie Peters is perfectly cast as the fetching and witty emcee for the evening. An M-award winning spoken word artist and two-time Victoria Slam Champion, Missie has a lot of experience with love-part of the occupational hazard of being a poet. Musical guests include stunning vocalists Taylor Pardell & Alan MacDonald and Victoria’s very own Gordon Clements, Saxophone and Michael Drislane, Piano. Phoebe Rumsey, Choreographer, takes the stage with fellow dancers Stacy Sanderson and Leigh Machnee in Broadway Showstoppers.

Musical highlights include:

Beautiful Love Saxophone Solo, You’d be so nice to come home to, Razzle Dazzle from Chicago, Gimme Gimme from Thoroughly Modern Millie, What Kind of Fool am I, In the next ten minutes from The Last Five Years and featured selections by George Gershwin, Cole Porter & Stephen Sondheim.
