The only dedicated performance space of its kind in downtown Victoria, our venue offers a flexible range of options for all kinds of events. Live theatre and dance are our specialties, but we also rent for corporate gatherings, screenings, classes, dances, readings, film shoots, concerts and parties.

Located on the busy corner of Quadra Street and Johnson Street, near every bus route, the studio is a spacious “black box” theatre with a 28′wide by 24′-6″ deep stage and wing space on both sides. Our venue is well-equipped with theatrical lighting and sound systems, a clearcom system, a grand piano, a digital projector and other toys. The Metro features 191 upholstered seats on tiered audience risers in a proscenium configuration. The grid is 19’6″ above stage level. Excellent acoustics. Fully wheelchair accessible.
